12/16

squat: 387.5x5 367.5x5x2

bench press: 265x5 250x5x3

rdl: 225x5x2

Intensity set of squats creeped up to @8, so I lowered the increments to 2.5.
Dropped a back-off set of squats this week because deadlifts are moving to Monday due to travel.

Bench felt easier than last week.

12/18

beltless squat: 315x5x2

press: 165x3x4

chins: x5x3

deadlift: 465x5

Yuck. Everything is garbled because of travel. I deadlifted today, so I don't need to do them on the road.
Press wasn't strong. I wanted to get 4s, but I settled for 3s.
Deadlift was okay. So far I'm keeping up with the 2.5# jumps. I was falling behind with 5# jumps.

12/25

squat: 390x5, 370x5x3

bench press: 267.5x5, 252.5x5x3

rdl: 225x5x2

Missed a couple of workout due to the holiday. The RPE on the squat back-offs was creeping up. Last set was harder than I like.
Strong bench press day. Hopefully things can get back to normal now.

12/27

squat: 275x5x2

press: 166x3x3 166x2

chin: 25x3x3

deadlift: 467.5x4

Still as mess from travel.
I hate pressing and deadlifting on the same day. The press is such a miserable lift it ruins everything.

Press tanked.
Pressing does nothing to improve my press. Close grip bench is the only thing that can make my press move at all, but I missed those due to travel.

Didn't even try for my fifth deadlift rep. I was so pissed after the press. My press will not improve.

12/30

squat: 392.5x5, 372.5x5, 365x5x2

bench: 270x5, 255x5x3

rdl: 225x5x2

Still not over travel. This workout kicked my ass. My legs were dead going in and even the bench was heavier than I expected.
Hopefully it gets back on track soon because that took max willpower to get through.

squat: 315x5x3

press: 167x1, 135x5x3

chin: x6x3

F**k you press. My press is dropping like a stone. I just took all the weight off and did a few back-off sets.

1/3

squat: 355x5x2
close bench: 225x5x3
dead: 415x5

I missed two workouts over Christmas and it's destroyed my training.
I had to take 50# off last week's deadlift just to make the reps.

F**k everything.

squat: 395x5, 375x5x3
bench: 272.5x5, 257.5x5x3
rdl: 225x5x2

Best workout since the holidays.

Squat was a grind Wednesday, but today I was stronger and better than last Saturday.
Strong bench day today. Better than last week.

1/8

squat: 315x5x3
press: 167x3x3, 167x2
chins: x6x3

Low back was tight. Squats sucked. Lots of fatigue from Saturday.
Press was better than last week. Still missed a rep though.

1/10

squat: 340x5x2
close bench: 227.5x5x3
dead: 470x5

I want to get a 405x5 heavy day squat, so I eased medium day.
cg bench was much better than last week, less rusty.
Deadlift PR. I was suppose to hit this last week but I couldn't budge it. Today it went smooth.

I think I've finally gotten over my holiday disruption.

1/13

squat: 397.5x5, 365x5x3
bench: 275x5, 260x5x3
rdl: 225x5x2

I was not strong today. I got my lifts, but they were hard.

I NEED that 405x5 squat. I'm SO close. Must not stall.

275x5 bench! That is some NICE plate math.

275x5 is some damn solid bench work. You’ll get 405 soon. Even sooner if you stop micro loading. ;)
