Just killing time before it’s up

57 years old, 6'2' , 240 lbs been weight training about 4 years but never did "the program" . Participated in one strongman competition and want to get strong to do more of them.Last day of training was 9/21/17. couple of days later diagnosed with detached retina- had surgery immediately and was banned from anything heavy until now. One potential fly in the ointment- retina has not healed as well as expected - may need another surgery in 6 months so any gains may be short-lived. Interested to see how much strength I have lost - best lifts pre-surgery:

press - 180
deadlift - 435
bench - 300
squat - 315
front squat 270

back to gym ....

Strong work there, @oldguy

We are close to the same age, but i've only been lifting about a year.
Your training history should help you a lot now, and even if you have to take another break.

Nice to have you logging here. : )

Huh, that’s weird (I’m 8.5 in both eyes). Best wishes for improved healing.
