Steinhaus's training log
I couldn't be persistent with writing my training sessions in a notebook, so figured i will try here instead.
Im 22 years old, 1.92m, 96kg~, lifting since i was 15 or so. Over the years i did SS, Texas method, Pendley 5x5, bulgarian method, some rpe based training, etc. For the past several months i basically have been doing bulgarian style training, focusing mainly on deadlift (my deadlift is 260kg as of now). Now (last 1-2 weeks or so) have been doing a lot of behind the back deadlifts.
3 days ago, on wednesday, I grinded 250kg for a 10kg pr:
thursday - no lifting since gym is closed
friday (yesterday) - failed twice with 255kg behind the back. switched to dips, and dipped 70kg for a single (which is my pr).
today: to be lifted.

Re: Steinhaus's training log
thanks
today's lifting: a failure, pretty much. failed with 255kg on behind the back again, lowered to 252.5kg and failed there too. might need to take a day or two off this exercise, been pushing it for a while. ill see how i feel tomorrow.
I was too mentally fatigued to max on anything else, so i finished it off with the manliest exercise and some pullups (this is the manliest exercise:
I did 75kg there.)

Re: Steinhaus's training log
Today:
started with dips. 65kg felt hard, to jumped to 70 instead of 72 (pr), but then 70 was not a grinder, so tried 72 and failed at lockout. switched to behind the backs: even though i felt very sore and warmups didnt feel good, i finally hit 255kg after failing with it for 3 days straight. Friendly reminder that how you feel is a lie.

Re: Steinhaus's training log
Yesterday: smoked 245kg from behind the back to went for 260kg. failed, twice. i was so tired that i couldnt max on anything else. so i just did some nonsense and went home.
Today: 245kg was hard, so stopped there. felt very beat up, so i did some pullups and called it. i probably need a day off, and conveniently, the gym is closed tomorrow.

Re: Steinhaus's training log
Today, started with behind the backs - extremely weak day, 250kg beat me. So i switched to usual conventional deadlift and pulled 250kg fairly easily after around 3 weeks with no conventional deadlifting. Then i dipped 68kg, and PR'd on the manliest exercise with 77kg. Not a bad lifting day

Yesterday: Bad day, nothing notable.
Today: Went for 265kg on deadlift (conventional) which is a 5kg pr, and failed just below my knees. Ill definitely try again soon
Also did some ohp's for the first time in a long long time. Just did some singles with 75kg

Re: Steinhaus's training log
Today: 250kg behind the back was heavy. I will probably give this lift a rest for a few days. After that i overhead pressed 77.5kg.

Re: Steinhaus's training log
Yesterday: Some overhead pressing and full zerchers. I failed with 80kg at lockout and then did 60x9. Then i full zercherd 160 (first time ever doing this)
Today: 250kg on deadlift felt not bad, so went for 265kg and failed at the knees, probably was greedy of me to try. Next time i might try 263 or something instead. I then did another single with 250, and afterwards some one-arm-standing-dumbbell-pressing - did 32kg for 5 and then 34kg for 4

Re: Steinhaus's training log
While the forum was in hiatus i did 265kg on deadlift, and 255kg for a double, and some other stuff.
Yesterday i overhead pressed 86kg (pr). Then i did 50kg behind the back for 12 reps, and some light deadlift with a double overhand grip (reached 240kg).

Re: Steinhaus's training log
Today: 250kg deadlift, stopped there because i was weak today. Started warming up for press, felt pretty strong but then Hamas decided to shoot rockets at me so lifting was ruined.

Re: Steinhaus's training log
Today: I did rack pulls for the first time ever. below knee (actually it was at the midpoint between my knee and my midshin). Climbed to 280kg, which felt pretty good. Then i did bench press for the first time in like 2 months - 127.5 for a single and then 120x2. Might go back to benching for a bit.
Also, i am doing pullups with fat gripz everyday.

Bench: 130x1
Low handle deficit trap bar: 190x3, 200x3, 210x3, 220x2 - maximal weight that i can put on the bar, since its short and the plates are thick.

Re: Steinhaus's training log
Yesterday: failed twice with 132.5 on bench. Was extremely weak in deads as well, so just did standing one arm dumbbell press (34x6) and rows (110xsomething). Bad day
Today: 132.5 on bench, felt good and smooth, finally the groove is getting greased in bench.
255x1, 220x6 on Deadlift. Wanted 7, but couldnt get it.
