A/S/L:
Middle/6’4” 220lb Man child/sticky vinyl office chair

A cup is my man bra size.

Possibly stunning PRs for a 115lb teenage girl:
Bench 205
OHP 160
Deadlift 375
Squat-nope-have a crushed T5

History:
Recently paid off college loans wasted on the subject and many other liberal “arts.” Plus others!
Former 5.13 climber, really former.
Former long distance and mtb cyclist. Still own two bikes, down from 14.

Amazing breadth of lifting weights, whilst not touching the 45s:
Did Strong Lifts some years ago for 3 months, then newborns began arriving.
Started SL 1 Nov last year, switched over to SS after xmas.
Next did two rounds of Andy Baker’s over 40 program.
Started Hanley’s MM yesterday.

I’m pretty swole is what I tell myself, while I cry alone sitting the floor in a cold dark shower.

Thanks for sharing your log, @BigE \o/

I'm liking the MM 2 week plan.
I just finished the first full cycle, and have been doing the bench portion for 4 cycles now.

“Power” ~ like a 90’s Kia.

Squat- Rested two mins between the last two sets, otherwise changed plates and went. Top set of 265 was supposed to be 3x1, did it as 1x5.

Bench- Changed plates and went, no rest between sets. Top set of a whole 150 was supposed to be 3x1, did 1x6

Close grip bench at 115 for 2x8 & 1x12. Rested two minutes between sets.

Deadlift- top lift was 340. Rested 2 minutes, then started 5x4 of 280. But some of them were fives because I bought the book, kiss the ring. Had to rest 3-4 minutes between the later sets, cause I’m outta shape, weak, and lazy.

I’m gonna to go eat a box of “Mrs Paul’s” frozen fish fillets now.

MM W1D3

Squat 250~5x3 Easy, but I felt weak. Didn’t eat this morning.
Bench 140~3x3TG+1 pause, plus 1x10TG. Easy.
SGDL 205~4x5 first timing doing these. Felt them work my lateral mid/upper back.

Gotta go make up for skipping intake earlier today.

Spent the day moving appliances and getting power equipment ready for spring.

OHP
140x3
110 x 29 in 7 minute density block. Started out too fast and my last single was a grunter.

BB Shrugs
145 3x20 with 3 minute rest. Easy.

Curl bar
100 3x5 with 3 minute rest. Hard. My last rep was straight up ugly. If anyone is interested in an IronMaster curl bar, I’ll sell it cheap. Once the wife approves it, going to get an Xmark “convict” curl bar.

DB “21” curls.
One of my friends who lifts, is all about these.
25 for 3 sets of “21” Can definitely feel them.

HIIT-protesting till I get a concept2. My wife loves her peloton, but I do not.

MM W2 D1

Another day of joy with underwhelming weights.

Squat 235~ 3x4 and 4x3. Nice weight to work on my form.

Bench 130~ 5x4 and 2x3. Counting is hard. Very easy. Worked on form.

BB row 175~ 7 minute density block for 41 reps.

Measured my basement ceiling, which I assumed was lower than normal. It is eight-feet high. Passed up a six post Legend rack for $300 last week, thinking it wouldn’t fit. My Titan rack rolls on, which I cut down at the old house.

Those old nasty shirts are great for PRs. The key is to never wash it.

Messed up my back on the 3rd. Had debilitating pain for about a week, where I had to stop and brace like an old man who couldn’t breathe. Been to the Chiropractor three times and it is improving.

10 May
Bench 150 5x5
Close grip bench 135 3x5
Tried to do squats, deads and OHPs, but my back wasn’t having it.

13 May
Random programming
Bench

145x2
160x2
175x1
185x1
190x1
195 fail

BB shrugs
160 3x20

BB curls
60x10
80x5
90x3
100x3
110 fail

21 curls
30 hammer
30 normal
30 concentration
