The DOMS problem

#1

How the hell do you 'people' who only squat twice or once a week deal with the DOMS? or do you not get it that bad?

If I miss but ONE workout, and forced to go like 5 days without working out (squatting really)....the DOMS after the next squat session is terrible.

I have backed off to two squat days/week before and the same thing. The day after the 3 days rest session the DOMS is fairly bad.

Maybe it's highly individualistic?
Does one every adapt?

(It's not crippling, but I like to complain.)

I only get DOMS if I haven't squatted in a week, which hasn't happened in awhile. So I would say it is highly individualistic.

The least soreness I've ever had was when I was doing "Easy Strength", squatting 2x5, 5x/week.

I’ve only been squatting twice a week for a while, and I don’t get terrible DOMs. I do a reasonable amount of volume in both sessions though. Think I’ve just adapted to it over time.

Even now I did a pretty big leg session last night and I’m not super sore. Just tired
