Hey everyone!

I MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!!!!!

WOW so much has changed in the barbell world and in my world!

Some updates on my life and training:
- I quit Lifetime as a personal trainer and am building my independent personal training business. I rent space in a gym in East Rutherford, NJ (Strong and Shapely) and also travel to people's houses (for now).

- I haven't lifted much in the last 5 months with all these life changes and lost all my gainz :-(

- I'm buying my first gym equipment!!!! Buying a light technique bar and plates, since I can basically do all the lifts (minus back squats) with all that when I travel to people's houses, and can keep it all in my car.

- I'm announcing at the USSF meet in New Winsdor!! I AM GOING TO BE A BOMB ASS ANNOUNCER!!!!!!

- I'm going to the Starting Strength Seminar in August in Woodmere to try to get certified as a coach (I tried and failed the platform last October).

- I'm also thinking of going to the Barbell Medicine Seminar in July in Brooklyn---anyone else going?

You're so sweet! Thank you :-)

Yes it is...being on the forum has usually correlated with gainz so I'm hopeful :-)

Hey, Martha is back. I figured you had taken up marathon running or something instead of lifting? Welcome!

Holy shit, Martha. Welcome and best of luck with the seminar and starting your business! Lifting is definitely a secondary concern in that regard, so don't worry too much about it, things will get back on a rhythm and strength is a super loooong game anyway.

Thank you!!

You are definitely right. I remember reading something Rip wrote saying that if you want to become a gym owner, realize your own training is going to have to take a back seat. I'm not a gym owner but this still counts, right?
