Excellent session...pleased with my own lifting here and I got to see some very nice Deadlifting whilst in the Gym as my friend hit a very nice milestone in her progression towards some big things...I was so pleased in fact I forgot I was doing Fronts and did a single Back Squat in addition to my warm up :)

I didn't do a great job last night in making sure I was well recovered for this workout so it was just that bit more difficult than it should have been...went in feeling pretty stiff and sore and it took a good while to get loose. Both Squats were fine but I had a distinct lack of caring as I finished the Back Squats and whilst setting up for presses and nearly decided to fuck off home...I didn't and that's a good thing, as I had a word with myself and the doubles were fine and my energy and enthusiasm returned in full...

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Fronts (2-ct Pause): 2 singles (02:00)
Fronts (10-ct Pause): 5 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 2 sets of 4, 2 triples, 6 doubles (02:00)
FSWO & 20-ct Hold: 4 singles (02:00)
SQWO & 20-ct Hold: 3 singles (02:00)
FSLO: 3 triples (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause): 7 singles (02:00)
Snatch Balance (Pause at Bottom): 3 singles
Plate Hammers throughout...

Felt like complete Ass this morning - today's effort was just an absolute struggle from beginning to end, the old bod was really not having any of it at all...in the end I managed to get through it (with a few minor-ish subtractions) because...well, when you are Stupid that's what you do.

If you're Stupid you also draw out your count for a few extra seconds when you're moving especially badly because why not?

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 17 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 2 sets of 4, 2 triples, 2 doubles (02:00)
FSWO & 20-ct Hold: 3 singles (02:00)
SQWO & 20-ct Hold: 3 singles (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause): 7 singles (02:00)
Snatch Balance: 5 singles

It's 6 hours after the session above and my left index finger is only now starting to regain full feeling...I'm guessing it was trapped between the bar and my shoulder on Front Squats, which is a sign as to how bad my mobility must have been as that doesn't usually happen...

Much better today - not quite 100%, but not bad...my body is clearly still fighting off something going by this morning's bodyweight spike. Felt strong though, much more mentally with it and my energy levels were pretty consistent...Happy Days overall.

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 18 singles as I cannot count it seems... (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 2 sets of 4, 2 triples, 6 doubles (02:00)
FSWO & 20-ct Hold: 4 singles (02:00)
SQWO & 20-ct Hold: 4 singles (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause): 7 singles (02:00)
Bench: 3 sets of 3
Plate Hammers throughout...

94.6kg, 109 minutes...shoulders felt a lot more normal. Finger still a little numb, which is handy for poking...

Not bad at all today (Presses in particular were very good) but I'm definitely still not feeling right, so it's really just a case of holding the line for now until things either improve or I can get a better handle on the problem...I suspect my Meds are at fault again but it may just be a blip...

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 18 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 2 sets of 4, 2 triples, 6 doubles (02:00)
FSWO & 20-ct Hold: 3 singles (02:00)
SQWO & 20-ct Hold: 3 singles (02:00)
FSLO: 3 triples (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause): 7 singles (02:00)
Snatch Balance: 6 singles

Having been in a bit of a mood these past few days I've been lax in mentioning my aches and pains...both knees have been a little testy and my right calf has been playing up, right up on the outside just underneath the knee, which is a fairly common spot for it to go wrong when it decides to...

Woke up feeling brighter (in terms of mood, anyways) so I decided to have a bit of a change today - worked up to a new "heaviest set yet" for 2-ct Pause Squats...it says something that I could do this quite so readily despite feeling so off but I suppose it also points towards the improvements I've made over the past few months with the 10-ct Pauses (and even with the difficulty modifiers I use this was better than the previous heaviest rep)...Presses felt really nice this morning, I've made a few changes with my start position that I think will make me more consistent...I decided to cut out the heavier holds completely today, I'll see how that reflects on tomorrow I suppose...

Fronts (2-ct Pause): 13 singles (02:00)
Fronts (10-ct Pause): 5 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 4 triples, 6 doubles (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause): 7 singles (02:00)
Plates Hammers throughout...

94.5kg, 89 minutes...knees and calf still a little sore a few hours after this session...guts feel a little better though...

94.2kg, 106 minutes...bodyweight is slowly coming back down and in general I'm feeling a lot less inflammation...knees felt decent and my calf was also feeling a good deal better...

Still Hot and a Bank Holiday today...gym was busy when I walked in and then empty 10 minutes later - I do so hope me being there has...er, hasn't driven them away...

By my relaxed standards I've been somewhat caning the last few sessions and hence my legs were pretty dead for this one, but the bar was moving well once again...if I'm honest I've been holding the Squats longer and deeper than before and I'm very pleased how well it is turning out...took a while to get moving as I didn't sleep particularly well last night (due to the heat, I think) and was feeling a little fuzzy-headed.

Fronts (10-ct Pause): 18 singles (02:00)
Squats (15-ct Pause): 10 singles (02:00)
Presses: 2 sets of 4, 3 triples,5 singles (02:00)
Squats (20-ct Pause): 7 singles (02:00)
Plate Hammers as per...

93.5kg, 90 minutes...bodyweight slowly coming back down to normal...knees were a little creaky but loosened up nicely.

Excellent session yesterday which I'll add when I'm a bit more comfortable that the Forum won't simply eat it.

I'm going to Hate it but I've decided to take the day off today, in part down to a niggling sore throat that I've been fighting off for about a week now...
