Blocky's Experiments in Lifting

I need a place to keep a log. I've been lurking here for a bit and like this forum.

I'm 45, 5'7 and weigh around 220. I've competed in about 8 powerlifting meets (7 in the USAPL). I did my first meet in 9 years in May. I'm preparing for another meet mid-Sept. I also suck at deadlifting.

Monday:

Comp squat: 370x6, 385x6, 405x6, 365x6x2 sets
Comp bench: 235x6, 245x6, 255x6, 225x6x2 sets
1 arm rows: 5 sets of 10 (up to 75s)

Tuesday:

Comp deadlift: 330x6, 350x6, 365x6, 325x6x2 sets
wide grip bench (feet out): 185x6, 205x8, 215x8x3 sets
Reverse Lunges: 5 sets of 10 (light)

Thursday, June 6th:

SSB (no belt): 255x8, 285x8, 305x8, 305x6 (mid-back tweak), 155x8x2 sets, 175x8x3 sets
T&G Bench: 185x8, 205x8, 220x8x3 sets
DB Press: 35sx10, 40sx10x4 sets

Well - that sucks. I start a log here and pop something in my mid-right back. I'm stiff today and if I move in the wrong way, my back spasms. But I think it will be ok quickly. I could sleep without problems, and I've had a similar tweak in the same place before. Next week is a low-stress week, so that will give me more time to heal.

Temp deadlift (light): 185x8, 205x8, 225x8x3 sets
Incline Bench: 135x8, 155x8, 175x8x3 sets
Goodmornings: 95x10, 105x10, 120x10x3 sets

Light lifting today. My back is much better 48 hours after I tweaked it.

Low-Stress Week:

Comp Squat: 375x5 (some back discomfort/instability), 345x5x2 sets (no pain)
Pause Bench: 225x5, 245x5, 260x5
CGBP: 200x6, 215x6, 225x6

My back tweak is not that bad - I should ok by the end of this low-stress week.

1-board press w/pause: 255x4, 265x4, 275x4x2 sets
Leg press: up to 270x8x3 sets

Yes - it's a good thing that I'm taking it easy this week (or I pushed too hard before the end of my last GPP block and started to break...)

Beltless Squat + Chains: 245/290x4, 275/320x4, 295/340x4x2 sets
T&G Bench: 245x4, 255x4, 265x4x2 sets
Push Press: 155x7, 165x7, 175x7

No pain today - woohoo!

Comp Bench: 245x5, 250x5, 260x5, 245x5x2
CGBP: 225x6x4 sets

Meh - I was having some minor adductor discomfort (I strained it in Jan), and I forgot my knee sleeves. The adductor discomfort got better the more sets I did. I lowered the weight and got my work in.
